A walk to remember

The story begins when Landon Carter, who is a high school student, and his friend pretend include to Clay Gephardt as new friend of their club, but an accident occurred and Landon is follow by a policeman and he is punished by his high school director. As punishment, Landon has to tutor people in need and has to participate in and fallen play.

Landon gets a main roll with Jamie Sullivan who is the father´s daughter. She is a reserved girl with a few friends and conservative, she is a dreamy person, perhaps she is a chorus in her church and she loves watching the star with a telescopic that she built when she was a child.

Landon has some trouble learning his lines, so he asks Jamie for help, Jamie tries to help him if he promises not to fall in love with her and she tells him about her goals in her life.

During the play, Landon kisses Jamie in front of the entire audience but it wasn´t in the script. The day follow the play, the ex girlfriend of Landon makes a picture into a pornographic one.
Landon asks Jamie if she wants to dinner with her. But he has to ask her dad if he can with her daughter.

Then Landon begins to do real the Jamie´s dream and they fell in love, but Jamie has a big secret she is sick, she has leukemia and has stopped responding to treatments.

Landon went to his father´s house and asks him to help Jamie but his father tells him that he can do anything because it isn´t his specialty.

After that Jamie collapses because his cancer gets worse, but Landon continues doing the Jamie´s dreams real.

They get married, it was the first Jamie´s dream and Landon do it real, but 6 months later Jamie died.

4 years later Landon still remember Jamie because she was the girl who did change his mind

IN THE SHADOW OF THE MOUNTAIN

This story occurred a long time ago, it began in a family lunch where were Marjorie , Clare(Marjorie’s daughter) and Andrew (Marjorie’s son). While they were having lunch, the phone rang and Clare got it, the reason of that call was to communicate to this family that her grandfather´s body had been found, but someone in the family had to rescue it.
Then Clare had to travel to Zermatt in Switzerland, there she discovered a lot of secrets about the past of her family, and she also discovered how her grandfather´s death was.
When she went there, she fell in love with her ski teacher called Bruno but he also was the grandson of the person who guided her grandfather the day of his death. Then Bruno introduced her to his grandfather and he told her all the truth about what was happened that day.

In this story we can see a lot of characters but the main characters are:
Marjorie: Edward’s daughter, she was 3 years old when his father dead.
Andrew: Marjorie´s son, he has two children and a wife called jan.
Clare Newton: Edward’s granddaughter, she is good organizer, sensible and adventurous.
Bruno: he is a ski teacher, he is divorced and he fell in love with Clare.
Ulrich Grunwalder: the person who guided to Edward, the day of his death.


Something interesting in this story for me was when she began to investigate the past of her family and she discovered some secrets about her grandfather that only some person knew about, but her family didn’t know yet about what was the reason to those thing happened, so when she realized about the truth, she felt confused and the same time sad because in the past many people didn’t know the real story until that day.


With this story we can learn that if we want to find out answer about something, we have to search until reach, we want know, and don´t be afraid when some obstacles are in our way, we have to learn to avoid them and then we feel proud of ourselves.

MY VACATION

I´m going to talk about my vacation 2 and half year ago, it was in December 2007, we were in Monteria and coveñas; I was with my family and my dad´s family who came from Londres.

When i was there, i did a lot of things with my cousin who i didn´t until that day, it was a wonderful day, we played in the beach, ate and did other things; then my cousins, my dad and me walked around the beach, we were watching all the hotels and the restaurants around there. There are a lot of expensive and cheap restaurants. When the sunset appeared we went to my grandmother´s sister and there we ate again, and my dad, his cousins and his siblings were drinking there and they remembered thing that was happened when they were teenager. It was a amazing day and the other who came later too.

My suggestion for you is that coveñas is a good place to be with your family and friend, everyone have her or his own style to have a funny moment, so enjoy your vacation!!!
